Relax with Coffee

If you’re anything like me your morning ritual consists of getting the kids to school, working out, the morning coffee and straight to work. Repeat five days a week.
I like to add Rritual Reishi Relax* in my morning cup of coffee to help combat anxiety and stress* that sometimes comes with morning emails and helps me feel more focused to start the day.

What are Rritual Superfoods?

Ok, let me tell you about Rritual. They make plant-based elixirs, made from organic naturally harvested (in the US) mushrooms and adaptogenic herbs (like cinnamon and ginger). These ingredients help support a healthy response to stress and anxiety, help your cognitive mind to focus and support your digestive and immune health*. My favorites are Lion’s Mane Focus* which helps manage stress, and Reishi Relax* (featured in this coffee recipe) to help the body and mind combat anxiety, as well as help sleep quality*. No worries about a weird taste either! These taste good, almost not even noticeable in coffee. Reishi Relax* tastes like cacao with a touch of cinnamon, perfect for adding to a hot or iced coffee.

How Can I add Elixirs?

My favorite way to add elixirs is in coffee (hot or iced), as the powder dissolves quickly. You can also add in tea, coffee, a smoothie (another favorite), or even add on top of oatmeal, yogurt or granola.

How to Make an Iced Coffee

Brew a cup of your favorite coffee. Add ice cubes into the glass. Add 1 scoop of Reishi Relax* into the glass with a pinch of cinnamon. (Tip: Feeling festive in the Fall? Also add a pinch of pumpkin spice) Stir to fully dissolve the powder. Top the glass with your favorite plant based milk. For me, it’s oat milk. Give it all a stir one more time. Now sit back and relax!
